Extra Large Spider Web is a gross motor activity that incorporates math skills. It is a fun way to enhance learning and develop muscle strength without your child knowing that what they are doing. Scroll down for directions.

Materials:

  • Chalk
  • Number Flashcards

Directions:

  1. Draw spider web onto the sidewalk.
  2. Randomly place number cards onto the web. 
  3. Call out a number or give a math problem to each of your kids. They will have to spider walk (In squatting position walk sideways) on the spider web lines to the correct number.
