I don’t alway like using worksheets and videos. My kids and I enjoy the hands on approach the most. When I take them to the library we leave with stacks of books. I try to plan a head so I can request books on the topic we are learning about.

But, I don’t always make it to the library to get good books about a topic I teach my kids. Or plan ahead enough. I am so thankful that we are living in a time where I can use different internet resources to get books and information about a topic for my kids. We used Reading IQ to read and listen to several spider books and watched a few youtube videos.

Worksheet are not aways bad. There are tons of meaningful and good worksheet out there that help develop writing skills in a fun way. Here are some that I found on spiders that were good for Ranger D.
